Phone Person

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable individual to join our team as a Phone Person. In this vital role, you will be the friendly voice that takes orders from customers over the phone and in person for pick up and delivery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your customer service, sales, and food industry skills while supporting our fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and eager to contribute to a lively team dedicated to delivering exceptional service. •Needed days are afternoons Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday for summer and switching to Friday and Saturday late August •Must be 16 or older Duties Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, directing inquiries or taking orders Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the food service area, including bussing plates in waitress station and cleaning workspaces Support food safety protocols by following proper sanitation procedures and handling food responsibly Collaborate with team members on running food, bussing, and other restaurant operations (if necessary) Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive dining or shopping experience Skills Strong communication skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Familiarity with POS systems Knowledge of the food industry, quick service & fast-food restaurant operations, or café environments Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly Join us as a Phone Person and become an essential part of our vibrant team!
