Job Title:
Physical education Teacher and Sports Coach •Moseley Public School does not provide J-1 Visa options. Open to Candidate's with a valid Oklahoma Teaching License or willing to obtain.Position Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher and Sports Coach to implement a curriculum that caters to students' physical health, fitness and athletics. This position will be responsible for motivating and guiding students to develop and fulfill their physical potential in a fun, supportive, inclusive and safe environment. You will also be responsible for preparing and training athletes, developing game strategies, teaching the rules and techniques of the sport, and analyzing player performance. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of the physical fitness for age appropriate levels, experience coaching various sports, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping athletes achieve their full potential.Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to plan lessons that are centered on various physical activities for Physical Education and Coaching for athletes of various skill levels. Monitor and analyze performance and make necessary adjustments to the physical education and athletic programs. Teach relevant skills, tactics, and techniques. Ensure all students understand the rules and regulations of the sport. Foster a positive and supportive team environment. Ensure all safety protocols are followed during physical activities and training environments. Promote the importance of physical health and well-being. Organize sports events and competitions. Attend competitions and tournaments. Communicate effectively with parents, athletes, and staff. Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials and facilities. Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Previous experience in Physical Education and Coaching. Experience working with students ages PK-8th grade. Strong knowledge of physical fitness levels for various age levels, sports rules, strategies, and techniques. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Physical stamina and the ability to demonstrate techniques and movements specific to the physical exercise or a sport. Ability to motivate and engage students. First aid and CPR certified is a plus. Physical stamina and agility. Applicant with a CDL Class B for Bus Driving or willing to obtain is a plus. Must have Teacher Certification preferably in Physical Education.Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions:
Work closely with students and staff Works indoors and outdoors with some exposure to environmental conditions (rain,snow) General good physical condition necessary to perform the duties of the job Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, bend, stoop, operate a computer, and other office equipment Reach with hands and arms, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds May involve exposure to noise levels ranging from moderate to loud on occasions May involve work in crowded environments Must have the ability to communicate effectively Position will involve traveling for sporting events, some during after school hours Works in standard office and school building environments that may be loud at time The incumbent must maintain a valid driver's license and remain in compliance with any school policies pertaining to the safe operation of motor vehiclesYearly Training Requirements:
