Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in physiotherapy principles, with experience in diverse clinical settings including inpatient, outpatient, hospital, and home health environments. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in assessing patient needs, developing comprehensive care plans, and delivering targeted interventions to promote recovery and enhance quality of life. Your expertise in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology will be essential in providing safe and effective patient care across various populations, including geriatrics, and orthopedics. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine functional limitations and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with clinical goals. Implement evidence-based physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics interventions, and rehabilitation exercises to facilitate recovery. Manage discharge planning processes to ensure seamless transition from hospital or inpatient settings to home or community care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans that address acute care needs and long-term health objectives. Document patient progress accurately within electronic medical records (EMR systems) while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, treatment modalities, and home exercise programs to support ongoing recovery. Provide specialized care for diverse populations including elderly individuals, and those requiring outpatient or home health services. Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices and maintain professional development through continuous learning. Requirements Valid licensure as a licensed Physical Therapist with relevant certifications. Proven experience working in inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or home health environments. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice. Experience developing care plans that incorporate discharge planning and community-based care strategies. Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patient record management. Demonstrated expertise in treating orthopedic conditions, geriatrics, and acute care cases. Ability to apply various physiotherapy techniques including trigger point therapy and orthopedic interventions effectively. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients clearly and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Pay:
$100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
