Physical Therapist

JLK Global Enterprises, Inc. is currently seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide professional therapy services supporting Southeast Missouri Residential Services (SEMORS), a state-operated developmental disabilities residential services program under the Missouri Department of Mental Health.

Locations:

Poplar Bluff, Missouri Sikeston, Missouri Position Type:

Part-Time / Contract Approximately 40 hours per month Contract anticipated through December 31, 2026

Position Summary:

The Physical Therapist will provide therapy evaluations, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and rehabilitation support services for individuals residing in a developmental disabilities residential care environment. The PT will collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to support patient mobility, adaptive functioning, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct physical therapy evaluations and reassessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide therapeutic interventions and rehabilitation services Document services and treatment progress within the electronic health record (EHR) Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams (IDT) Support adaptive therapy and daily living skill development Assist residents with mobility, positioning, strengthening, and functional improvement goals Maintain compliance with Missouri DMH policies, standards, and documentation requirements

Preferred Experience:

Developmental disabilities services Residential care settings Skilled nursing facility (SNF) Long-term care Behavioral health Neuro rehabilitation State facility experience

Minimum Qualifications:

Current Missouri Physical Therapist license in good standing Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program Current BLS/CPR certification preferred Ability to travel between assigned SEMORS locations as needed Strong documentation and communication skills

Schedule:

Flexible monthly scheduling Approximately 40 hours per month total Day shift coverage preferred
