Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assess, develop, and implement personalized treatment plans to improve patients' mobility, strength, and overall quality of life. Your expertise will help patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or manage chronic conditions across various settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, home health environments, and community care programs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference by empowering individuals to regain independence and optimal function through evidence-based physiotherapy practices. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to determine physical abilities and limitations using physiology and anatomy knowledge. Develop customized care plans that align with medical terminology standards and patient goals. Administer physiotherapy treatments such as trigger point therapy, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercises to promote healing and pain relief. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning, ensure continuity of care, and optimize recovery outcomes. Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting care plans as needed for inpatient, outpatient, or home & community care settings. Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and self-care techniques for long-term wellness. Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic medical record (EMR) systems while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Skills Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology essential for accurate assessment and treatment planning. Proven experience in acute care hospital environments, inpatient units, outpatient clinics, or home health settings. Familiarity with discharge planning processes and developing effective care plans tailored to diverse populations including pediatrics and geriatrics. Expertise in physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics-focused interventions. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to motivate and support individuals through their recovery journey. Experience working with EMR systems for documentation and communication across healthcare teams. Knowledge of home & community care practices to facilitate seamless transitions from hospital to home-based rehabilitation programs. Join us in transforming lives through compassionate physiotherapy! Pay:
$41.00 - $54.67 per hour
