Physical Therapist Assistant | Home Health | PRN $70 a visit

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient care team— providing therapy directly in patients' homes . Responsibilities Assist Physical Therapists in carrying out personalized outpatient treatment plans in patients' homes. Perform therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and other rehab techniques as directed. Track and document patient progress accurately using digital or written records. Instruct patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility strategies, and safety practices. Ensure a safe and professional environment during each home visit. Communicate with PTs and healthcare team members to support high-quality, coordinated care. Treat a variety of patients, including those recovering from surgery, auto accidents, or managing chronic conditions. Apply techniques like trigger point therapy , neuromuscular re-education, and manual therapy to improve outcomes. Requirements Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current state licensure or eligibility as a PTA. Knowledge of outpatient rehab techniques, anatomy, and medical terminology. Experience with home-based outpatient care or similar settings preferred. Ability to manage time independently and deliver care across a geographic area. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Passion for helping patients regain independence and improve function at home.
