Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week travel assignment in a dynamic therapy setting. The ideal candidate will have strong outpatient therapy experience and the ability to assist with both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services. June 15, 2026 Requirements Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Colorado Outpatient therapy experience required Inpatient therapy experience preferred Strong communication and patient care skills Ability to work collaboratively with physical therapists and interdisciplinary teams Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient mobility support Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care Ability to adapt to varied patient populations and treatment settings Responsibilities Assist physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation interventions Monitor patient progress and report changes to supervising therapists Educate patients and families on exercises, mobility techniques, and home care instructions Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Support both outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation services as needed Ensure compliance with safety standards, infection control policies, and facility procedures Collaborate with healthcare teams to support quality patient outcomes Promote a positive and supportive rehabilitation environment for patients

Pay:

$45.00 - $50.00 per hour
