Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will provide rehabilitative services to patients in their home, under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating patients' conditions and developing individualized treatment plans
• Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises, stretches, and manual techniques
• Monitor and document patients' progress during therapy sessions
• Instruct patients on proper techniques for performing exercises and using therapeutic equipment
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• BLS Certification
• Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Experience in home care settings and familiarity is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
