Physical Therapist Assistant

Duties:

• Assist the physical therapist in providing patient care and treatment interventions.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities under the guidance of the physical therapist.
• Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions.
• Educate patients on proper exercise techniques and home exercise programs.
• Administer therapeutic interventions such as trigger point therapy and manual therapy techniques.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
• Proficiency in occupational health practices.
