Physical Therapist Assistant, Part-Time/PRN includes Travel Pay

Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care by implementing prescribed treatment plans and therapeutic exercises tailored to individual needs. Assist licensed physical therapists in evaluating patient progress and adjusting care plans accordingly. Perform specialized techniques such as trigger point therapy to alleviate muscle tension and pain. Educate patients and their families on physiotherapy exercises, postural correction, and discharge planning to promote ongoing recovery. Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in inpatient, outpatient, orthopedic, geriatrics, pediatrics, and acute care settings to ensure seamless patient care. Travel between various healthcare facilities and home health visits while maintaining excellent service standards. Qualifications Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Proven experience in inpatient settings, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, or home health environments. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques. Skilled in providing care for diverse populations including geriatrics and pediatrics. Familiarity with discharge planning processes and developing effective care plans. Competence in specialized therapies such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics treatments.
