Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Part-Time/PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with Travel Pay! In this energetic role, you will provide essential rehabilitative services to diverse patient populations across multiple settings, including inpatient facilities, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, home health, and more. Your expertise will help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life through compassionate care and targeted physiotherapy interventions. This position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to travel between locations, making a meaningful impact wherever you go. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care by implementing prescribed treatment plans and therapeutic exercises tailored to individual needs. Assist licensed physical therapists in evaluating patient progress and adjusting care plans accordingly. Perform specialized techniques such as trigger point therapy to alleviate muscle tension and pain. Educate patients and their families on physiotherapy exercises, postural correction, and discharge planning to promote ongoing recovery. Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in inpatient, outpatient, orthopedic, geriatrics, pediatrics, and acute care settings to ensure seamless patient care. Travel between various healthcare facilities and home health visits while maintaining excellent service standards. Qualifications Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Proven experience in inpatient settings, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, or home health environments. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques. Skilled in providing care for diverse populations including geriatrics and pediatrics. Familiarity with discharge planning processes and developing effective care plans. Competence in specialized therapies such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics treatments.
