This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including pediatric through geriatric patients, while treating a broad range of conditions such as orthopedic, neurological, vestibular, and wound care cases. The role also includes travel to remote village communities, allowing clinicians to practice full-scope physical therapy while making a meaningful impact in underserved populations. Key Responsibilities Clinical Care Provide physical therapy services across inpatient, outpatient, home health, and community settings Treat patients across all age groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics Manage orthopedic, neurological, vestibular, mobility, and wound care conditions Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions and rehabilitation programs Community Outreach & Village Travel Travel to remote village communities to provide direct patient care Adapt treatment plans based on available resources and community needs Participate in outreach initiatives and promote community wellness Patient Evaluation & Treatment Planning Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Implement therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional rehabilitation Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as needed Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental audits Collaboration & Communication Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Communicate effectively with patients, families, and culturally diverse populations Serve as a professional representative of the rehabilitation department Required Qualifications Education & Licensure Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Active Alaska Physical Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain) Current BLS Certification Experience Hospital, outpatient, or rehabilitation experience preferred New graduates are encouraged to apply For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
