Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Contract Step into a key position providing physical therapy services within a dynamic hospital environment. As an integral healthcare professional, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, evidence-based therapy focused on improving patient outcomes. Your expertise in hospital-based physical therapy is essential to restoring mobility, function, and quality of life for a diverse patient population.
Key Qualifications:
Current and valid Physical Therapist licensure Prior experience in a hospital or acute care therapy setting Strong assessment and documentation skills for individualized care planning Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with patients and healthcare staff Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and professional ethics
Schedule/Hours:
Contract position; details regarding shifts will be provided during the interview process
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate, plan, and administer physical therapy treatments for patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and medical illnesses Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other allied health staff to develop and adjust care plans Document patient progress accurately, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and therapeutic techniques for at-home recovery Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to support comprehensive care delivery
