Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting patients' rehabilitation in a hospital environment. This contract role calls for a Licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality therapy services, helping patients achieve optimal mobility and independence.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current state license as a Physical Therapist (PT) Experienced with hospital-based therapy; strong clinical and assessment skills Familiarity with diverse patient populations across age groups and diagnoses Excellent communication and documentation abilities Dedication to evidence-based practice and continuous learning Strong interdisciplinary teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Implement targeted physical therapy interventions focused on patient goals Educate patients and family members regarding exercises, safety, and rehabilitation process Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to support coordinated care Accurately document evaluations, interventions, and patient progress in medical records Reassess patients and adjust plans as needed throughout treatment Foster a supportive, compassionate atmosphere conducive to recovery
