Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Contract Excel in a supportive hospital environment as a Physical Therapist, where your expertise contributes to exceptional patient care and recovery outcomes. Key Qualifications:
Active license as a Physical Therapist (PT) Experience in a hospital-based therapy setting preferred Strong ability to assess, plan, and provide individualized care based on physical examination and diagnostic data Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to ongoing professional development and continued education
Responsibilities Include:
Maintain a highly professional image while engaging positively with patients, visitors, physicians, and colleagues Assess patient needs through comprehensive evaluation, including patient histories and physical assessments Develop and implement personalized therapy plans targeting holistic, age-specific goals Deliver effective nursing interventions, supporting the physician's prescribed medical plans of care Conduct routine hourly rounds, consistently upholding service excellence standards Foster an atmosphere of compassion, dignity, and respect for all patients, families, and visitors Utilize health and safety equipment as appropriate to protect patients and team members Adhere to unit protocols for central lines, foley catheters, pressure ulcers, ventilators (as applicable), restraints, and fall-risk prevention Contribute to departmental efficiency, including assuming charge responsibilities when assigned (appropriate certification required) Mentor and precept novice team members, enhancing collective knowledge and skills Participate in evidence-based practice initiatives and system-wide performance improvement efforts Demonstrate dedication to professional growth by setting developmental goals and engaging in educational opportunities Seize the opportunity to deliver high-quality care and make a positive impact in a dynamic hospital setting.
