Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity to support student success as a contract physical therapist this summer. Provide expert care in a school-based environment near Randolph, NY, helping students achieve their physical and functional goals. This role covers the period from July 6 through August 14 and requires your valuable skills just one day each week, from 8:15 am to 2:15 pm—making it ideal for those seeking to enhance their experience while maintaining a flexible schedule.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New York State Previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, faculty, and families Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Excellent organizational skills and the ability to document progress efficiently
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and provide physical therapy interventions for students with a variety of needs Liaise with teachers, administrators, and other therapists to coordinate care and ensure an integrated approach Support students' physical access to curriculum, activities, and school facilities Evaluate and document student progress, updating treatment plans as necessary Communicate regularly with families and school staff regarding student progress and ongoing needs Educate staff and families on strategies to support student mobility and participation
