Your expertise will help students thrive, working collaboratively with dedicated educators and families to promote mobility, accessibility, and lifelong wellness. Qualifications & Experience:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist and eligibility to practice in Georgia Experience delivering PT services in pediatric or educational settings Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and goal tracking Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, school staff, and families Ability to adapt interventions to individual student needs, ages, and developmental stages Flexibility to work across several school sites as determined by assignment
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate students' mobility and physical function within the school environment Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals Collaborate with special education teams on interventions, accommodations, and assistive devices Document and report on student progress consistent with school and district protocols Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations and advocacy Provide education to staff and family members about therapy activities and home supports Serve multiple school sites as assigned, ensuring consistent and quality care This contract role begins May 23, 2026, and concludes June 30, 2026, making it ideal for professionals seeking short-term experience or those looking to supplement a school-year schedule.
