Job Description

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an exciting contract opportunity serving K-12 students as a part-time school-based Physical Therapist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. In this rewarding, onsite role, you'll have the chance to inspire progress, improve mobility, and support students' growth across a diverse caseload. Work closely with educators, families, and specialists dedicated to student success while enjoying a flexible, part-time schedule that allows for a healthy work-life balance.
Qualifications & Experience:
Licensed Physical Therapist in the state Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is strongly preferred Ability to assess, develop, and implement therapy interventions for a varied K-12 caseload Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and compliance Confident communicator; able to collaborate with students, staff, and caregivers Passion for helping young learners reach their fullest potential
Key Responsibilities:
Provide physical therapy services to K-12 students onsite during the 26/27 school year Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development and progress reporting Educate staff and families on strategies that enhance student mobility and participation in school activities Maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with state and federal special education guidelines
