Physical Therapy Assistant

Location:

Lake Worth area, Boynton Beach, or Delray Beach, FL areas M.D. Home Health, LLC is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide in-home therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a direct impact in patients' lives.

Responsibilities:

Provide physical therapy treatments as outlined in the plan of care Assist patients with improving mobility, strength, and functional independence Perform therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility activities Monitor and report patient progress and changes in condition Document all visits accurately and within required timeframes Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs Communicate effectively with supervising Physical Therapist and care team

Qualifications:

Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant License Minimum 1 year of experience under a Physical Therapist preferred Current CPR certification Valid Florida Driver's License, reliable transportation, and auto insurance Level 2 Background Screening Ability to work independently in a home setting Strong communication and time management skills

Compensation:

$50-$60 per visit (based on experience ) Flexible scheduling Consistent patient assignments within designated service area

Bonus Opportunity:

Performance-based retention bonus available for PTAs who maintain a consistent caseload and meet documentation standards.
