Job Description

VMP Healthcare and Community Living is looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team! You will assist with assessing, planning, implementing and documenting client's Physical Therapy program under the direction and supervision of the Physical Therapist. Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job Responsibility Overview:
Reviews client's current situation and screens individual for intervention. Communicates to client and appropriate family and/or staff. Plan appropriate therapeutic activities to meet client's goals. Demonstrates ability to prioritize treatment procedures according to client's needs and MD requests. Reviews and evaluates effectiveness of interventions toward achieving client outcomes.
