Job Description

Are you prepared to use your Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) expertise to significantly impact seniors' lives? A talented, creative, and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) is needed to join a dynamic team at Concordia Visiting Nurses to see patients in and around our New Castle service area. Other service areas available, Beaver Falls, New Brighton, Beaver, Industry, & Midland. This role offers the opportunity to build relationships with patients, empower them to regain independence, and help them live their best lives.

What You'll Do as Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) : Makes home visits to patients in accordance with the physician's plan of care Implements the therapy program established by the LPT, providing services to prevent disability, relieve pain, restoring function and independence to achieve the patient's full potential following disease or injury. Assists in teaching patients and in planning discharge from physical therapy services Make a true difference: Witness firsthand the impact of your care on patients' health and well-being.

Qualifications for the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association Certified as a physical therapy assistant with an indirect license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Has performed a minimum of 2,000 hours of physical-therapy related acts which have been signed off by a supervising LPT. Reliable, independent means of transportation to make home visits. Drivers must have a valid driver's license and drive a car with insurance limits as established in personnel policies
