• We are currently looking for a new graduate or experienced PA for a very busy orthopedic practice. Part time position . We have offices in Woodbury, Melville, West Islip and Patchogue but need to travel all over the island. Very competitive salary, no weekends.

• Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and provide appropriate medical treatment under the supervision of a licensed physician
• Assist in surgical procedures and minor surgeries as needed
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and treatment options
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Participate in care and provide support to pediatric patients
• Utilize and effectively in daily practice
• Assist in managing operations to ensure efficient workflow
• Provide compassionate and comprehensive to individuals of all ages

• Skills:

• Strong understanding of medical principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in medical software and technology
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Prior experience in outpatient care settings is preferred
