Northern Minnesota Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our healthcare team in beautiful Northern Minnesota . This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a scenic, outdoor-oriented community while enjoying a supportive and collaborative work environment. The ideal candidate will diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, perform procedures, and promote overall wellness for patients of all ages.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical exams. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions. Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests. Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians. Prescribe medications as authorized by state regulations. Perform minor procedures and assist with surgeries as needed. Educate patients and families on disease prevention, wellness, and treatment plans. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records. Adhere to federal, state, and facility regulations, policies, and protocols.Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in Minnesota (or ability to obtain). Graduation from an accredited PA program . Certification by the NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants). Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic, and procedural skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in family practice, primary care, or specialty areas preferred.What's Offered:
