With over 47 years of service to the greater Tampa Bay area, our well-established private practice offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development in a supportive environment. Ideal candidates with Orthopaedic spine experience are preferred, but we also welcome new graduates with formal Orthopaedic training to apply. This role involves a balanced schedule, allowing you to work in both clinical and surgical settings. This position will require travel to our various OMGTB locations. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments and obtain medical histories. Evaluate patients and initiate treatment plans in collaboration with attending physicians. Maintain accurate medical records using office and hospital EMR systems. Provide education and counseling to patients regarding their health conditions and treatment options. Split the workweek between approximately three clinic days and two operating room days, assisting in minor and major Orthopaedic procedures. Alternate daily hospital rounds, including new patient consultations and post-operative care. Participate in shared weekend call rotation: approximately one weekend every eight weeks with the potential of one holiday call per year. Call weekend duties include hospital rounds and surgical cases. Thrive in a fast-paced environment while supporting physicians and clinical staff. Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and best practices. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Participate in continuous professional development and training. Requirements A Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), and Florida state licensure. Minimum of 1 year experience in Orthopaedic spine subspecialty is preferred. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Commitment to providing compassionate care while adhering to ethical standards. Join our team as a Physician Assistant where you can make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients while advancing your career in a supportive environment.
