Job Summary We are seeking a highly qualified Physician - Medical Director to lead clinical operations and oversee medical services within our partner healthcare facilities. This role involves providing expert medical leadership, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical experience, strong management skills, and a passion for advancing healthcare in underserved populations. Duties Provide strategic leadership in clinical development, medical management, and patient care initiatives. Oversee compliance with healthcare regulations including
HIPAA, FDA
regulations, NCQA standards, and other applicable laws. Supervise medical staff and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Implement and monitor utilization management protocols to promote efficient resource use. Manage medical records, ensure accurate documentation within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems. Lead quality improvement efforts aligned with hospital standards and research best practices. Collaborate with administrative teams on budgeting, staffing, and project management to support operational excellence. Ensure adherence to medical terminology, physiology, anatomy knowledge, and clinical protocols. Qualifications Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution; board certification or eligibility in a relevant specialty. Proven experience in hospital settings with supervising or leadership roles. Strong knowledge of managed care systems, healthcare management, and clinical research methodologies. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and medical records management. Extensive understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology. Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in clinical environments. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance standards related to patient privacy. Experience in project management, budgeting, and implementing quality improvement initiatives. Excellent communication skills to effectively lead teams and liaise with stakeholders. $299,228.00 - $433,867.00 per year
