Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact supporting students' communication needs in a highly collaborative educational setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist who thrives on fostering positive change and championing student growth. Work within a supportive school environment near beautiful Bernalillo, NM, engaging with students, educators, and families to help students reach their full academic and social potential. What you'll bring: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (or eligibility for CFY supervision if applicable) Previous experience working in a school-based setting preferred Strong communication and organizational skills A passion for working with children and collaborating with diverse educational teams Responsibilities include: Assessing students' speech, language, and communication needs Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Providing direct therapy services and consultative support for students, teachers, and families Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with all state and federal requirements Participating in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team collaborations Supporting generalization of communication strategies across instructional settings This assignment offers a rewarding opportunity for personal and professional development, flexible scheduling, and the chance to make a lasting difference in students' lives.
