Physician•Plastic Surgeon (General, Cosmetic, Gender) The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a full-time Plastic Surgeon to join its dedicated team on the Liberty Campus. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality reconstructive and elective cosmetic surgical services while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care. This role emphasizes both clinical excellence and strong engagement with the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a full spectrum of plastic and reconstructive surgical procedures, including but not limited to: Breast reconstruction and reduction Skin cancer reconstruction Hand surgery Trauma and cancer related flap coverage Wound care Basic Facial Trauma Elective cosmetic procedures Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including follow-up visits Participate in on-call rotation for trauma and emergency consults Collaborate with orthopedic, vascular, colorectal, gynecology, cardiothoracic, urology, general and neurosurgeons, dermatologists, oncologists, and primary care providers
Required Qualifications:

Serving the healthcare needs of the community for over 50 years, Liberty Hospital is a 204-licensed bed medical center and Level II trauma, STEMI and Stroke center. Facility includes a 20-bed Intensive care unit with intensivists. Hospital's mission is to work in partnership with our community to improve the health, safety, and well-being of those we serve.
