Job Description
Qualifications:
Unrestricted Medical, PA, or NP license required Board Certified preferred Extensive experience working in an integrated healthcare setting.Primary Responsibilities:
Provides primary clinical care, including urgent and chronic care, orders and performs tests and treatment required, provides education for patients/families. Performs history taking, physical examination, diagnosis, and therapeutic treatment planning. Reviews and assess the patient medical history, including healthy habits and disease history. Includes basic principles of a healthy lifestyle and health risk reduction with patient encounters, orders diagnostic testing as indicated. Interprets results of diagnostic testing and plans appropriate follow-up with individual patients, with consideration given for their physical, emotional and financial resources. Prescribes medications accordingly as indicated; administers medications and injections accordingly. Responds to requests for medication refills in a timely manner. Serves as a consultant and provides guidance for mid-level practitioners regarding practice issues.
