Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Pick Packer Associate to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse skills, mechanical aptitude, and experience operating various heavy equipment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to seamless warehouse operations, support order fulfillment processes, and uphold high standards of quality control. Your efforts will directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall success of our distribution network. Responsibilities Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick and process customer orders. Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other mechanical tools safely and efficiently. Handle materials with care during loading, unloading, stocking, and transportation within the warehouse. Prepare items for shipping by packaging products securely and verifying order accuracy through quality control procedures. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including documentation and inventory updates. Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock locations and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational standards. Perform heavy lifting as required while maintaining proper ergonomic practices. Conduct regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy and facilitate order fulfillment. Operate order pickers and other mechanical equipment to optimize picking & packing efficiency. Experience Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in picking & packing operations. Hands-on knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanner technology. Experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other mechanical tools. Prior warehouse supervisor experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation is preferred. Strong understanding of shipping & receiving processes, order fulfillment, and warehouse distribution. Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting safely. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management and quality control. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members across various warehouse functions.
