Responsibilities Carefully pack pickle products using appropriate packaging materials, ensuring accuracy and product integrity Operate packaging machinery and equipment, to facilitate efficient packing processes Follow FDA regulations and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards to maintain food safety and quality compliance Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge for assembly, adjustments, or repairs of packaging equipment when necessary Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area, adhering to safety protocols at all times Assist with warehouse activities such as inventory management, forklift operation, and product staging Conduct routine inspections of packaged products for quality assurance before shipment Skills Familiarity with packaging processes within a manufacturing environment Understanding of FDA regulations and CGMP standards relevant to food production Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred Excellent attention to detail, organization skills, and the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment About Us Pittsburgh Pickle Company is a family-owned food manufacturer producing high-quality products made with real ingredients. • Assist in food processing and preparation
• Build boxes and pack customer orders
• Label products
• Clean and sanitize equipment and workspace
• Perform general warehouse duties
• Lift up to 50 pounds when required
• Maintain safe and sanitary working conditions Work Environment
• Standing for 6-8 hours at a time
• Wet floor conditions at times
• Some days are fast-paced production
• Some days are small-batch focused Qualifications
• Prior food production experience preferred but not required
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working in warehouse conditions
