Aerotek is hiring for a Concrete Finisher / Form Carpenter with WEEKLY pay! $25-$30+/HR

DAY SHIFT

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Commercial Concrete Finisher / Form Carpenter to join our team on a variety of high‑profile new construction projects throughout the greater Pittsburgh area. This is a steady, first‑shift position where you'll work with an established crew using modern equipment and proven methods to deliver high‑quality concrete work. You'll be hands‑on in all phases of concrete construction—from layout and forming to pouring and final finish—while working for a company that values craftsmanship, safety, and long‑term employee success. What You'll Do Grade, set up, pour, and finish concrete surfaces including floors, sidewalks, curbs, and stairs Build and set wood forms to correct depth, alignment, and elevation Use lasers, string lines, and layout tools to verify elevations Install rebar, wire mesh, expansion joints, poly, and tape per project specs Spread, screed, and finish concrete using hand tools and power equipment Finish concrete to specified textures using brooms, floats, hand/power trowels, and ride‑on trowels Set anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and embedded items before concrete sets Monitor jobsite conditions (weather, temperature, humidity) to support quality finishes Work safely around heavy equipment while collaborating with other trades on site

What We're Looking For Required:

Prior experience in concrete finishing and form carpentry , preferably commercial Comfortable using hand and power tools (trowels, straight edges, tape measure, nail gun, screeds) Ability to work a consistent first‑shift schedule (7:00 AM-3:00 PM, Monday-Friday) Strong attention to quality, safety, and teamwork Nice to Have (Not Required): Commercial construction experience Rough or finish carpentry experience Masonry experience Ability to lead or assist small crews ACI Certification (plus) Experience operating skid steers, Bobcats, mini‑hoes, or excavators Familiarity with laser screeds, robotic total stations, and advanced finishing equipment Why Join Us? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
