The ideal candidate will perform foreman duties on a pipe crew and be willing to labor at times. Having a Class A or B CDL (manual transmission) is a plus. Duties Lead and supervise pipe crew members during all phases of pipe installation (ductile iron, PVC), including trenching, pipe laying, backfilling, testing and restoration. Coordinate daily work activities with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project progression. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to verify project specifications and ensure accurate installation. Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other safety regulations by conducting regular safety meetings and site inspections. Oversee quality control measures to guarantee that all work meets industry standards and project requirements. Communicate effectively with office personnel and customers. Skills Proven management experience in construction site supervision with a focus on pipe installation. Supervise workers, communicate with project managers and inspectors. Read and interpret construction blueprints, utility locates, right-of-way plans. Oversee restorations activities including backfilling, compaction, grading, seeding and site clean-up. Knowledge of best construction practices, in-depth understanding of OSHA regulations related to trenching, shoring and confined spaces. Proficient in equipment operation and maintenance. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, work in trenches and walk on un-even terrain. Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members, clients, contractors, and vendors. Positive attitude and team player. Detail oriented and focus on quality of work. Class A or B (standard transmission) CDL is a plus!
