Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Pipe Layer to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing underground piping systems that form the backbone of infrastructure projects, including pipelines for water, sewer. Your expertise will ensure that all piping installations meet safety standards, project specifications, and quality expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing heavy equipment and precision techniques to deliver reliable utility solutions. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to accurately lay out pipe routes and installation points Operate heavy machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader trucks to excavate trenches and prepare sites for pipe installation Install underground pipelines using pipe lasers for precise alignment and for secure connections Perform concrete forming and finishing around pipe installations to ensure structural integrity and proper support Utilize utility locating tools to identify existing underground utilities before excavation to prevent damage or hazards Conduct pipeline testing and inspections to verify proper installation and adherence to safety standards Assist with plumbing tasks related to construction projects and coordinate with other trades such as concrete finishing and welding teams Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, forklifts, and front loader trucks in a construction environment Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, pipe laser alignment, welding techniques, concrete forming, and finishing processes Familiarity with utility locating methods and pipeline installation procedures in oil & gas or municipal infrastructure projects Ability to work safely on construction sites while adhering to all safety protocols and regulations Construction site experience with a focus on pipeline or utility projects is highly preferred Basic understanding of plumbing systems and concrete finishing is advantageous Certification in heavy equipment operation or related trade skills is a plus Join our team if you're eager to build essential infrastructure with precision and passion!
