The Azure Standard Maintenance Team is dedicated to ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of company facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. Our mission is to support daily operations through proactive maintenance, timely repairs, continuous improvement, and a strong commitment to workplace safety, productivity, and operational excellence. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipe Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is required to have minimum of two years of welding experience, demonstrating proficiency in various welding techniques and a commitment to producing high-quality work. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to complex projects in a collaborative and safety-focused environment. We're hiring for the job, which is a 4-6 month project. The best candidates will be offered a full time work after this job is finished up.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform welding on various types of pipes using MIG, TIG, or Arc welding on pipe (stainless steel, carbon steel, and/or other alloys) Ensure all welds meet specified standards, specifications, and safety requirements Interpret and follow welding blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders Prepare pipes and materials for welding, including cleaning and fitting Conduct quality inspections of welds to identify and rectify defects Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper safety procedures are followed at all times Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently and accurately

Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum of two years of professional welding experience, specifically with pipes Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Strong understanding of welding safety standards and procedures Ability to pass a weld test (if applicable) Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions accurately Physical stamina and ability to work in various environmental conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

Welding certifications (AWS or equivalent) Experience with sanitary or high-pressure piping systems Fabrication experience is a plus Experience with drawing CAD files (Sketchup preferred)
