Phillips 66 & YOU - Together we can fuel the future What to Expect As a Pipeliner, youwill work independently and with other personnel to maintain and operate equipment and processes in the Midstream business unit. Some of the processes involved use hazardous and volatile materials under high temperature and pressure. Typical working conditions include outside weather and elements, blowing air, heat, noise, vibration and occasionally working from heights and confined spaces. Operators must follow safe work practices including the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). •This position requires the successful completion of an online assessment. Ensuring accurate and timely completion of paperwork. Responding promptly and effectively to customer needs. Responding to emergencies and assisting in maintaining emergency equipment. Completing mandated safety and regulatory training (Computer Based Training). Maintaining effective and professional relationships with pipeline customers and vendors. Performing environmental, company and regulatory checks as necessary. Eliminating, containing and reporting any and all product and/or crude leaks, seeps and spills. Monitoring and enforcing safety rules at facilities. Identifying and promptly communicating operational and equipment problems to supervisor and/or completing trouble reports. Assisting with construction and maintenance projects. Operating valves. Identifying and pursuing cost reduction opportunities. Performing housekeeping duties. Willing to work outside immediate area. Read and accurately understand drawings / pipeline route maps. Locating and marking P66 assets. This is a union represented position. (i.e. to be clean shaven (facial hair)) To perform firefighting duties To work outside in harsh weather conditions To work with hydrocarbons that are under high pressure and heat What Makes You Stand Out 3 or more years of direct operational experience in the oil and gas industry Relevant Military experience Safety and environmental alertness, and promotes a safe work environment by complying with all procedures, rules and regulations Beginner level proficiency with Microsoft 365 and SAP Willing and able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC); information can be found at https://www.tsa.gov/for-industry/twic Compensation Range The starting hourly rate for the Pipeliner is $34.12 for the first 6 months of employment, with anticipated step progression in pay through the first 2 years at 6-month intervals as well as the annual increases based on the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Relocation assistance and financial support to move is not available for this position. Midstream The Phillips 66 Midstream business is a safe, reliable, and trusted provider for the movement, storage, gathering, and processing of liquid or gas energy via pipelines or terminals.
