Pizza Cook/Prep cook

Overview:

We are a small Detroit style pizza operation in Harbert, MI seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our kitchen team as a Pizza Cook/Prep Cook. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to recipes and quality standards Assemble and cook pizzas to order, ensuring consistency and presentation Assist with general kitchen prep, including chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and maintaining prep stations Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times Clean and organize kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils Support other kitchen staff as needed Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies Communicate effectively with team members and management

Qualifications:

Previous kitchen experience preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate. Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Food Handler's certification is a plus
