Jobs › Wellesley, MA › Planning Director Town of Wellesley Planning Director Wellesley, MA Apply The Town of Wellesley is seeking an innovative, forward-thinking leader to serve as its Planning Director (35 hrs/week), overseeing municipal planning, zoning, and land use initiatives. This position is an excellent opportunity for experienced planning professionals, including planning directors, assistant directors, and senior planners, who are interested in leading complex planning, zoning, sustainability, and economic development initiatives. Wellesley is located 17 miles west of Boston and offers a unique mix of residential neighborhoods, commercial areas, preserved open space, and continued growth, creating diverse and rewarding planning challenges.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the Planning Department Serve as principal advisor to the Planning Board Administer land use, zoning, and subdivision control Develop short- and long-range planning initiatives
Requirements:
Master?s degree in planning or related field, or equivalent experience Five years of planning experience with supervisory responsibility Active Filters Planning Director Wellesley, MA Clear All Apply
