Plant Care Specialist The Claussen Group has four Seasonal Plant Care Specialist openings to fill. We are seeking applicants that have horticulture/botanical and retail experience. The Plant Care Specialist will be self-motivated and can work independently maintaining plants, annual landscaping beds, and indoor/outdoor planters at the Nursery and/or customer accounts in the Siouxland area. This will include but not limited to; driving company vehicle to accounts to water, day-to-day plant care of watering, weeding, applying fertilizer and repellents, and maintaining surrounding areas following best practices in the nursery. Also, retail duties of assisting customers with their purchases & cashier. This position typically is held mid-April to early-July. There are times when additional care is needed until October.

Qualifications:

Valid Driver's license and clean driving record , required . Retail experience, preferred. Work independently and manage time. Communicate and read labels in English. Botanical knowledge, preferred. Ability to physically stand, bend, squat and lift/move heavy loads. Excellent communication and work-ethic skills. Attention to detail.
