Key Qualifications:
Active RN license, in good standing Minimum of 1 year recent experience in PACU or related acute care setting ACLS and BLS certifications required Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills Proficiency in post-operative patient monitoring and recovery protocols Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Schedule/Hours:
Travel-based role; specific hours and shifts will be provided
Responsibilities:
Monitor patients as they recover from anesthesia, ensuring safe and effective post-operative care Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care in the PACU setting Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes Manage patients' pain, comfort, and vital sign stabilization Communicate effectively with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other multidisciplinary team members Educate patients and families regarding post-operative care and discharge instructions
