Plant Controller (Onsite - Smithville, TN)We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing operation in the greater Smithville area seeking a Plant Controller to support a critical phase of operational and financial optimization. This is a high-impact, onsite contract role.

This position will serve as a key business partner to plant leadership, providing financial insights, strengthening cost controls, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting in a dynamic production environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead all plant-level accounting and finance activities, including month-end close, variance analysis, and financial reportingPartner with operations leadership to analyze production performance, cost drivers, and margin improvement opportunitiesOwn standard costing processes, including maintenance, updates, and variance analysis (labor, material, overhead)Monitor inventory valuation, cycle counts, and physical inventory processesDevelop and enhance internal controls and best practices across the plant finance functionPrepare forecasts, budgets, and operational performance metricsSupport ERP data integrity and reporting accuracy across manufacturing and finance modulesProvide actionable financial insights to drive decision-making at the plant level
