Company Description Located in the heart of Marcus, Iowa, Little Sioux Corn Processors (LSCP) began with a single vision: to add value to the local corn harvest and provide a sustainable fuel source for the nation. Formed in 2000 by forward-thinking investors and local agricultural leaders, we set out to build a facility that would serve our community for generations. Construction of a new processing facility began in 2002 and in April of 2003 production of ethanol began at the brand new 40 million gallon plant. In 2005 production capacity was increased to 52 million gallons a year. Production capacity increased again to 92 million gallons a year in January of 2008. In the summer of 2015 capacity reached 135 million gallons a year and two years later production capacity, increased again to 165 million gallons per year - more than three times the original capacity. In fact, in January 2015 Little Sioux Corn Processors produced its first billionth gallon of ethanol. LSCP produced it's second billionth gallon of ethanol in August 2021. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Marcus, Iowa for a Plant Manager. The Plant Manager reports directly to the President & CEO and leads a team of eight direct reports across production, maintenance, safety, quality, engineering, and grain operations. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of a single-site ethanol plant, ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of high-quality products that meet company performance expectations. The Plant Manager drives operational excellence by monitoring performance metrics, optimizing processes, and addressing production challenges in real time, including identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. They play a key role in advancing process improvements and leveraging innovation and technology to enhance efficiency, profitability, and safety. In addition, the Plant Manager is accountable for maintaining high standards in safety, environmental compliance, quality assurance, and facility upkeep while promoting strong operational programs and processes. This position also focuses heavily on leadership development, mentoring and coaching employees to strengthen performance and build organizational capability. The Plant Manager fosters a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement, while supporting long-term strategic objectives set by executive leadership. Qualifications Education/Certifications The ideal candidate will possess an undergraduate degree in Agriculture, Engineering/Technical or related discipline. Professional Experience This person will need to be a strong leader who has a proven track record in driving results and showing contemporary methods of leading an organization. The successful candidate will possess 5 plus years of management experience directly related to the areas of operations, engineering and quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong presence, demonstrated general business skills and the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels within the organization. Accurate, honest, impeccable integrity traits are critical in nature. Critical Success Factors- Strong operational experience (e.g., logistics management, production management, plant management, capacity planning).
- Bias to short-term customer satisfaction while balancing long-term organizational needs and direction. Results orientation with energetic execution.

- Ability to develop new policies/procedures and lead their implementation
- Be able to listen effectively and foster a cooperative working environment
- Maintain/improve physical condition and appearance of facilities
- Help to identify and correct root cause for production deviation including being physically present on plant site when production operations are in upset condition.
- Coordinate production efforts to be certain sales objectives are met.
- Communicate with and report to President and CEO regularly
- Carry out all directives from the President and CEO
- Participate in quarterly Board of Directors meetings and report on operations including key production statistics, capital project execution, and personnel development and systems updates.
