Position Overview TIVA Building Products is seeking an experienced and strategic Plant Manager to lead our PVC extrusion manufacturing facility in Blackville, South Carolina. The Plant Manager will have full operational responsibility for the plant, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining the highest standards of product quality, efficiency, and workplace safety. This role requires a hands-on leader with deep expertise in plastic extrusion processes, who can drive continuous improvement, support business growth, and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.

Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership:

Direct and coordinate all manufacturing activities to ensure production schedules and quality standards are consistently met. The facility operates 24/7, and the Plant Manager must maintain a flexible schedule to support all shifts as needed.

Process Optimization:

Use strong knowledge of PVC extrusion to troubleshoot production issues, improve machine performance, and reduce material waste.

Team Development:

Recruit, train, mentor, and lead plant staff, including the Plant Foreman and production operators. Build a positive, safety-first work environment.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure all products meet strict quality control specifications and industry standards.

Strategic Planning:

Collaborate with executive leadership to align plant operations with company objectives and support growth in the North American market.

Financial Management:

Develop and manage the plant budget, control operational costs, and implement strategies to improve profitability.

Growth Execution:

Support and implement TIVA's growth plan, including expansion of machinery, production capacity, and staffing over the next three years.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure full compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.) and company policies.

Minimum Experience:

7 to 10 years of progressive management experience in a manufacturing environment, with a required background in plastic extrusion (PVC preferred).

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field is strongly preferred.

Technical Skills:

In-depth understanding of extrusion machinery, tooling, and polymer blending processes.

Leadership Skills:

Proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop production teams. Strong decision-making and conflict-resolution skills.

Business Acumen:

Solid understanding of budgeting, cost control, financial management, and lean manufacturing methodologies.
