Plant Operator- Riceville IA - 2nd Shift

Job Summary The operator is responsible for manufacturing soybean products in accordance with standard operating procedures established at the Riceville, IA facility. The operator will be responsible for operating the systems required to receive ingredients, load & weigh outbound finished products, process beans & harvest oil. The operator will operate the processing equipment according to established standard operating procedures. In addition to the manufacturing processes the operator will perform housekeeping activities, maintenance and repair of equipment, and quality checks on incoming ingredients and finished products. The operator is responsible for compliance with all company policies, local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations. Essential Duties Operate all manufacturing equipment. Load in incoming ingredients and load out finished products. Manufacture products in accordance with quality assurance policies, standard operating procedures and Current Good Manufacturing Practices. Sample incoming and outgoing products in accordance with sampling plan. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment. Perform routine housekeeping. Comply with all company policies. Comply with all local, state and federal laws, and regulations. Additional Duties Perform other duties as assigned Job Qualifications A minimum requirement of a high school degree or equivalent Knowledge of manufacturing equipment operation and maintenance Ability to lift 60 pounds, climb ladders and operate a pallet jack with 2,000 pounds of material Schedule 10 Hour Shift Monday -
