Plasma Cutter Operator

Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cutter to join our team. As a Cutter, you will play a critical role in fabricating and processing various materials, ensuring high-quality products for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metalworking and experience with a range of cutting techniques. • Operate a variety of cutting machines, including milling machines, stamping presses, and laser cutting machines.
• Use hand tools, calipers, and micrometers to measure and inspect parts.
• Fabricate and process sheet metal and other materials according to specifications.
• Work closely with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to bring designs to life.
• Utilize CNC machines to precision-cut and shape materials.
• Safely operate heavy machinery, such as cranes, as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with cutting processes and equipment. Qualifications
• Proven experience in cutting and fabricating materials.
• Strong knowledge of metalworking and cutting techniques.
• Familiarity with CNC and laser cutting machines.
• Proficiency with hand tools, calipers, and micrometers.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials, as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Certification in crane operation is a plus.
