Job Description
Plastering Specialist As a skilled Plastering Specialist, you will be responsible for applying plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create smooth and durable finishes. Your main duties will include mixing and applying plaster, smoothing and leveling surfaces, repairing damaged areas, and ensuring a high-quality finish. You must have a strong attention to detail and be able to work independently to complete projects on time. This is a contract job with no accommodation provided. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role. You should also have excellent knowledge of different types of plaster, tools, and techniques used in the trade. Physical stamina and strength are essential for this job as you will be required to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or patching holes
- Mix plaster to the desired consistency
- Apply plaster using hand tools or mechanical sprayers
- Smooth and level surfaces using trowels or brushes
- Create decorative textures using various techniques
- Repair cracks or other damages in existing plasterwork
- Clean up work area after completing job
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Plasterer or similar role
- Knowledge of different types of plaster and their properties
- Familiarity with relevant tools and equipment used in the trade
- Ability to read blueprints or other technical drawings is an asset
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month.Location:
