Plating Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Plating Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, testing, adjustment, and support of manufacturing machinery and processes. This includes conducting preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on a wide array of tooling and production equipment, including dies and molds. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on problematic manufacturing issues and process equipment. Troubleshoot and support a wide spectrum of tooling and production equipment. Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including sump pumps on plating lines. Work as a multi-craft technician, proficient in electrical, PLCs, troubleshooting, and general maintenance. Essential Skills Proficiency in electrical systems and PLC troubleshooting. Experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and PM maintenance. Ability to read and interpret schematics, perform wiring and assembly, and handle control panels. 3-5 years of experience in a technical or manufacturing environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Plumbing experience is a plus. Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical/electrical systems. Experience reading product blueprints. Tool and machine background, including basic machinist skills and soldering. Familiarity with MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook). CPR/First Aid/AED training. High school diploma or equivalent required. A 2-year or 4-year Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering/Technical Degree is preferred. Tool & Die or Electrical Journeyman/Certification is a plus. Why Work Here?
