Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Superintendent to oversee and coordinate plumbing operations for residential and commercial pool construction projects. This individual will be responsible for managing field activities, coordinating crews and subcontractors, maintaining schedules, ensuring quality control, and enforcing safety standards across multiple active jobsites. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, field-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and capable of managing several projects simultaneously with limited oversight. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all plumbing-related activities for pool construction projects from layout through final inspections. Manage and direct field crews, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain productivity and project schedules. Review plans, specifications, and plumbing layouts prior to installation. Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, inspectors, and other trades to avoid conflicts and delays. Schedule manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently across multiple projects. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure work meets company quality standards and code requirements. Identify and resolve field issues proactively. Ensure all plumbing installations comply with local codes, permitting requirements, and safety standards. Maintain daily communication with office staff regarding project progress, scheduling, inspections, and material needs. Monitor project timelines and help maintain production goals. Assist with troubleshooting plumbing systems, equipment installations, and startup coordination. Enforce jobsite safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work areas. Attend coordination meetings as required. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in plumbing supervision, preferably within pool construction or related site utility/construction work. Strong understanding of pool plumbing systems, hydraulics, equipment sets, and underground rough-ins. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications. Experience managing multiple field crews and projects simultaneously. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Knowledge of permitting and inspection processes preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Proficient with smartphones, photos, and basic field reporting/documentation. Preferred Traits Self-starter with strong follow-through. Comfortable operating with limited structure while helping improve processes and field coordination. Pay:
