Job:

The Poker Dealer facilitates live poker games by dealing cards, managing wagers, enforcing game rules, and maintaining a professional, engaging table environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage fast‑paced, high‑stakes interactions with accuracy and composure. If hired, applicant will receive extensive paid, on the job training (weekdays) prior to becoming a scheduled dealer. Schedule to be determined after passing training. Nights and weekends required.

Pay:

$16.90 no tips while in training. This is a tipped position once out of training.

Requirements:

Applicants will be required to audition for this position. If hired, candidate must apply for and obtain a work permit with the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Department in order to begin working, but may begin training while awaiting the permit. They will check your criminal background. Felonies, dishonesty, or stealing will result in automatic denial. Any other arrest may delay the process significantly.
