Once candidate is found RSU 16 is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Technician I, II or III to join our team. This position position will be instrumental in helping students reach their full potential within a structured and supportive Self-Contained Special Education Program.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct support and instructional assistance to students with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Implement Individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under the guidance of Certified Special Education Staff. Actively participate in a collaborative team to support students' needs and progress. Must be able to obtain Safety-Care Certification (training provided if needed). Possible Physical Demands, but not limited to: Standing, Walking, Sitting, Kneeling, Bending and Reaching outward Ability to lift 50 lbs
