Job Description
Police Department The Village is currently accepting applications for a full-time Police Officer. This position protects life and property, enforces federal, state and local laws, investigates criminal activity and responds to emergency/non-emergency situations. Open until filled. Effective 10/1/25, the starting pay will be $75,182.
NOTE:

Applicants who have not completed Florida basic police officer academy training will not be considered and neither will applications without the fully completed package.Minimum Qualifications:
Be 21 years of age or older Have a high school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by completion of basic police officer training academy Have U.S. citizenship Be able to pass a medical examination Be able to pass a thorough background check Possess a valid Florida driver's license or be able to obtain one prior to employment Necessary Kno wledge,Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to perform work requiring little supervision Good physical condition Sound conflict resolution skills Sound oral and written communication skills Technical competence with computersBenefits:
