Duties Patrol assigned areas regularly to deter crime, ensure safety, and provide assistance to the public Respond promptly to emergency calls, accidents, and incidents, providing first aid or CPR when necessary Conduct criminal investigations by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing detailed reports Utilize surveillance techniques to monitor suspicious activity and support ongoing investigations Enforce laws related to traffic, immigration, animal control, and loss prevention with professionalism and fairness Manage conflict situations effectively through conflict management skills while maintaining safety for all parties involved Write comprehensive reports documenting incidents, arrests, and investigations for legal proceedings Operate law enforcement vehicles safely while adhering to driving regulations and protocols Engage in community outreach initiatives to build trust and promote crime prevention strategies Assist with animal handling and care when required within the scope of law enforcement duties Qualifications Valid law enforcement certification or academy training; prior military experience is highly regarded Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure Proficiency in report writing with clear attention to detail and accuracy Knowledge of criminal investigation procedures and law enforcement practices Skills in surveillance techniques, conflict management, and security operations Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in driving law enforcement or security vehicles preferred Familiarity with immigration law, animal handling protocols, and loss prevention strategies is a plus Ability to handle sensitive situations involving animals or individuals with professionalism and compassion Embark on a rewarding career where your energy fuels positive change!
